Who we are

We’re so glad that you are here!

The Fellowship of Christian Professional Women (FCPW) brings hope, support, and mentorship to women and children in Sierra Leone through programs and partnerships rooted in faith and service. As a private foundation, we equip local nonprofits and community leaders to lead sustainable change that fosters dignity, growth, and transformation.

We believe true impact happens when faith, leadership, and community come together. Through our five pillars of impact: supporting local nonprofits, mentoring and leadership development, after-school enrichment, nonprofit governance training, and short-term mission outreach, we help unlock God-given potential and spark generational renewal.

Founded in 2024 through prayer and a call to serve, FCPW is committed to walking alongside communities still healing from crisis. We are a catalyst for restoration, bringing hope to life, one relationship at a time.

Join us through relational membership, giving not just to a cause, but into a story of transformation rooted in faith and fellowship.

Fellowship of Christian Professional Women (FCPW) is a registered 501(c)(3) private foundation. All contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. No goods or services were provided in exchange for this donation.

More on accountability and transparency

Why Sierra Leone?

Sierra Leone is a land of breathtaking coastlines, lush mountains, and vibrant culture. Nestled on the West African coast, this beautiful nation is known for its golden beaches, rainforest-covered hills, and the resilience and warmth of its people. From the bustling capital city of Freetown to the quiet strength of rural villages, Sierra Leone is rich with heritage, creativity, and untapped potential.

While the challenges are real, so too is hope. At FCPW, we are drawn not just by the needs, but by the promise, potential, and purpose we see in its women, children, and communities.

Unmet Needs Remain Deep and Urgent
Despite growing nonprofit presence, widespread food insecurity, limited access to healthcare, and educational gaps still leave many women and children without essential support—especially in underserved urban areas like Freetown.

Women and Children Face Disproportionate Challenges Post conflict realities, economic instability, and gender inequality continue to hinder opportunities for women and youth, making targeted mentorship, empowerment, and resources critical’

Strategic Gaps Call for Focused Support
Few organizations offer consistent after-school care, professional mentorship for young women, or capacity-building for grassroots nonprofits. FCPW’s Five Pillars of Impact address these specific service gaps with intentionality.

Faith-Led Solutions Have Deep Local Relevance
Sierra Leone’s strong spiritual culture aligns with FCPW’s faith-based mission creating a natural foundation for transformation that resonates deeply with local communities.

Momentum for Collaboration and Impact Is Growing
With national policies and donor interest increasingly focused on education, women’s empowerment, and community health, now is the time for collaborative, purpose-driven initiatives like FCPW to make a lasting mark.
